Jesse Tree Advent Ornaments are a great tool for teaching through the major events of the Bible leading up to the birth of Jesus, focusing on one story or era each day of December (25 days). We have carefully picked the stories we’ve found most important pointing toward Jesus’ coming and our list varies slightly from most. A helpful reading guide is included in bookmark form to keep in your Bible for nightly readings. I would recommend laminating this to use for years to come with your ornaments! The Devotional Book is written by Dr. Don Love (PhD), a Bible Survey Professor at a major Christian University studies with degrees in Bible, Theology, Biblical Theology, and Church Ministries. Don’t let that intimidate you though – although it is our hope that these stories and explanation will teach young and old alike, our goal is to give parents the tools to go as surface or as deep as they would like with their children. Through the lessons within this book, we will be discussing events recorded in the Old Testament that look ahead to the coming of Jesus. This book was originally designed for those hoping to add intentionality to their holidays by adding in moments of teaching that foster a heart of gratitude for, and a mind of understanding of the significance of Jesus’ coming. Felt Easter Advent Activity Reusable Set with Devotional

Looking for a more meaningful way to incorporate teaching in a memorable, fun way this Easter season? With this simple set all the work is done for you! This felt activity will count down beginning with Palm Sunday and through the Ascension, 10 days/stories in all. Along the path to the hill of Calvary discover what happened Jesus’ final week to the Cross, the mystery of His burial, resurrection, reappearance to the disciples and ending with the Ascension. I have selected 1 section of Scripture from the Gospels and Acts for each day based upon clarity and brevity. Each day of the countdown there is a story to read and felt piece to add to your felt background. Kids love the interaction and tactile symbol!

The background can be hung or used flat. This would be ideal to use for Pre-school, homeschooling, Sunday school or as family devotions. Suitable for a wide range of ages.
